The Adventures Of Hoohoo And Cat (Scene: 1)

Here's a film that my sister, my Mom, and I made with our felted owl and cat. Hoohoo is the owl and Cat is the cat. 

The cat has a secret. He has a heart on his bottom. 

We used Stop Motion Studio to make this scene. 

This scene took 131 shots and the duration is 26 seconds. 

It took us about 30 minutes to shoot this scene. 

The voices are of me and my sister, Peggy. 

Before we started, my sister made a storyboard. 

A storyboard is where you draw what's going to happen in the film. As the cameraman, a storyboard is helpful because you know what's going to happen, how to pose the figures, and how to film each shot. The storyboard also tells what each character is going to say. This helps me decide how long to make the scene, so I can fit in all the words they need to say.

In stop-motion, after the cameraman takes all the pictures, THAT'S when you add in all the sound. If I didn't leave enough room in the scene for all the talking, the talking would run into the next scene and the whole movie would be off. 

In the first script, our cat, Falkor, was not supposed to be in this scene. But while we were shooting it, he wandered in and we decided to keep it.
